NCJW GRS Zoom Member Meeting

If you were able to join us for the NCJW GRS 2026 Recognition Event, you’ve already heard that we’re preparing for an important new chapter. As you know, there are changes coming from the national NCJW office, NCJW Inc. NCJW Inc. is evolving into a national movement and shifting away from the grassroots, hands-on work that defines our section. As they make this transition, we in Greater Rochester have an exciting opportunity of our own. After thoughtful discussion and careful consideration, the board of NCJW Greater Rochester Section has voted to transition our section into an independent, locally-led organization, allowing us to stay committed to the Greater Rochester community and continue the meaningful work we’ve been doing here for over 132 years.

We’ll continue working together to support our Rochester neighbors, honor our traditions, and continue celebrating the legacy that you’ve all created. Please attend one of the upcoming member meetings to learn details and have your questions answered. We hope you’ll feel as excited as we are about our organization’s future. We can’t wait to continue this journey with you!
